Renthropic is invitation-only, and it stays that way for one reason: the homes here belong to people who live in them, and they hand over their keys. So we need to know you come from the community and that a host can trust you in their place — and this form is where you show us. A careful, specific answer tells us who we'd be handing those keys to. A rushed one usually means a no, not because we're strict, but because there's nothing there for us to trust.

A real person reads every word, and we're reading for one thing: whether a host would feel good handing you their keys.
A name from inside the community is the strongest thing you can put on this form — it's how most people get in.
Not everyone is accepted, and we'd rather tell you that now than leave you refreshing a page.
